Play Time

We just got back on Wednesday from a trip to Estes Park, and it is nice to be back to a normal schedule. We had a great time in Estes (Scott is working there this week, so we got to go with him!). It was great to spend some time with Scott this week. Normally when he is out of town working we dont get to see him at all, so it was a great treat! My parents came up on Sunday for a nice lunch up at the cabin, and we had a nice visit up there. Scott's mom and dad came up for a short visit too! Tricia and I enjoyed some great quality time together with Ady and going for a beautiful drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. On Wednesday, Tricia brought up Granny Zola for lunch. We had such a nice visit! It was a busy week, but we had a great time. I will post pictures in another blog!

It is such a quiet and beautiful snowy morning around here. I love the snow! It is absolutely refreshing to see the world blanketed in white. The air is so crisp and very COLD. Charlie and I played in the snow this morning, and we were both soaked when we came back in. I took some fun pictures of us all playing in front of the warm and glowing fireplace this morning. It is always quite humerous to watch!

Above is a picture of both my "babies" playing with their toys. They like to share if I'm not paying attention. He steals her toys and she steals his! Gross!! The question I have is why do I even bother putting a blanket down?

It clearly isnt really getting used by anyone but the dog! She likes tha carpet, and he likes the blanket. I spend all my time trying to keep him on the carpet and her on the blanket, but they seem to have other ideas! Notice that she rolled all the way over to the other side of the room. These pictures were taken within minutes of eachother.
Ady is such a wiggle worm that it is hard to get pictures, but I thought that this one above is pretty cute. She never ceases to amaze me! Of course Izzy had to join in on the fun too. It is a party at the Willcutts house when we play on the floor.
This isnt the most exciting post filled with stories and adventures, but I thought you'd all like some pictures of our normal morning routine. I get lots of laughs in. I want to add one more picture for you to see. It is SO hard to get a picture of Adyson laughing or smiling because she wiggles so much, but the other day I finally got one! YEA! She was eating her lunch and drinking water from her straw (which is her absolute most FAVORITE thing in the world to do). I was able to catch this picture. SO preicous!

Have a wonderful Friday and and even more wonderful weekend!

Lots of love,

Karen Ruth

  1. Thanks for sharing such adorable pictures!! She is growing into quite the little lady, isn't she? As far as Charlie goes, maybe you should just give in to the blanket battle... I have a feeling he is going to win every time. :o) Love you!
